A Swindle of Souls

A story trick using ten playing cards. A magician loses his immortal soul and his life by playing a game of chance with the Devil.

Setup: 6S-8S-3S-AS-2S-9S-4S-5S-7S-10S

Method:

 on top of pack. Two Riffle Shuffles.

Remove all Spade spot cards.

Perform a face-up Charlier Shuffle. Cut Ten to the face of the packet.

Swindle Shuffle.

DUD.

Pick up packet and establish break below top four cards.

Slip cut 4 into break.

Swindle Shuffle.

DUD.

Reveal cards are in sequential order.
